This is a car show designed for Valley Corvette members to display their Corvettes and personal classic car or truck. Also to facilitate holding the date for the park on the year we are not holding VetteFest.

Our beautiful Valley Corvette feather flags were flying under sunny clear blue skies at Kleiner Park in Meridian on Saturday July 24^th where we held our semi-annual Corvettes & Classics show for the 6^th time over the past ten years. 

Mike Healy had arranged for several members to meet at the park on Friday afternoon to pre-mark the parking locations for the vehicles. They did an awesome job which made it easier for the 93 beautiful Corvettes and Classics to be displayed for all to enjoy on Saturday. 

This year we invited Snake River Corvettes of Twin Falls to join us. Event Coordinator Floyd Sager arranged to meet them at RC Willey and brought their 8 cars into the park with a police escort (compliments of the Meridian Police Deptartment)!

A great lunch was provided and served to the 149 participants by several of our wonderful ladies. Followed by a short program where President Larry Brown honored two of the club's founding members, Larry Robb and a long time sponsor Bobby Petersen. Larry Brown presented them with posters celebrating our club's 30 year anniversary. 

Plaques were then presented by our Corvettes & Classics event sponsors for their choice of the following beautiful Corvettes: 

• Fairly Reliable Bob - presented to Mike Castle
  
• Xpel - presented to Barry Blessing
  
• Glass Doctor of Meridian - presented to Travis Shepherd
  
• Boise Muffler - presented to Gary Saylor
  
• Interstate Batteries - presented to David Brown 
  

Debbie Johnson finished out the afternoon with an amazing array of raffle items. 

A great time was had by all…..
