RACING TEAM NEWS

RACING EVENT:

Valley Vettes racing team participates in the Fairly Reliable Bob’s Club Challenge at Firebird Raceway in Eagle, ID. The Club Challenge is open to all types of clubs. It is divided into three different groups. For smaller teams, a Copper Cup group is offered (for clubs with 6 or fewer participants).


OUR RACING TEAM:

Our 2024 racing team consists of Valley Corvettes members: 
Rex Petersen, Dan Sheehan, Marcus Crawford, Paul Wallace, Barry Blessin and newcomer Lee Bellemare.

AWARDS & INTERVIEWS:

Congratulations to our 2021 Valley Vettes racing team who came in FIRST PLACE in the 2021 Fairly Reliable Bob's Club Challenge at Firebird Raceway in the Copper Cup Division! Check out the interview with Rex Petersen upon winning. They won the Copper Cup Division with a highest ever points accumulation of 700+ points. 


2023 RACING RESULTS:

The Valley Vettes team finished the season in 2nd place! They lead in 1st place most of the season, but got edged out in the end. Congratulations to all!

2022 RACING RESULTS:

Missing out on a top three finish in the Copper Club Division, Valley Vettes took 4th place overall for the 2022 season!

    Great news! With just one event left, Valley Vettes has moved into FIRST place. Final race is Sept. 6th. Come on out and join us.

    After a hot night racing, Valley Vettes is in 2nd place in the Copper Cup class. There are approximately 15 clubs in this class. Out of 300+ Club racers Valley Vettes has two members in the top 10 in points. Come on out on July 26th and cheer us on.

    Great news! After the first Club Challenge, Valley Vettes is in second place out of 14 teams in the Copper Cup. It was a great night of racing and fun to see our fellow club members come out to cheer us on.  Don't forget to come out on May 10th for another fun night.

    Valley Corvettes finished 2nd out of 13 teams in the Copper Cup bracket. Thanks to all the team members for a great effort. We'll be back again next year.

    After 4 events, Valley Vettes remains in First position, tied with one other team.

    Congratulations! Once again Valley Vettes has increased their lead in the #1 position in the Copper Cup.  Keep up the good work Guys!

    The first race this season in the 2023 Fairly Reliable Bob's Club Challenge was April 28.

    Valley Vettes is in first place in the Copper Cup Division! Barry Blessin is leading our team with 43 points and Ed Wong made it to the semi-finals. Great job guys!

    Don't miss the next races in the series on May 12 & May 26th.
